Adele finally got to meet her idol Stevie Nicks as she joined other excited fans at Fleetwood Mac's opening UK tour concert in London on Wednesday night. The 27-year-old was in the audience as the US band worked their magic on the stage, and afterwards was invited backstage for a special meet and greet with Stevie.
The following morning, Adele proudly shared the snap with her 22.7 million followers. "So… tonight was THE best night of my life," the Skyfall singer wrote alongside. "I love you Stevie Nicks!! The queen of melodies! Thanks for everything x."

Adele's admiration for Stevie is clearly reciprocated. The 67-year-old dedicated the band's song Landslide to Adele during the 22-song set, telling the crowd, "She's from here – you might know her.
"She's a fantastic songwriter… I told her, 'You're going to be me in 40 years, you’re going to still be up on stage doing what you're doing because of your songwriting."
Adele wasn’t the only star who headed out to see Fleetwood Mac on their opening night; also in the audience were Harry Styles and radio presenter Lisa Snowdon. Lisa, who attended with her dad, shared a photo of herself with the One Direction star, with the caption: "This happened last night – Mr S met Mr S! @LiveNation epic night."

Meanwhile, Adele looks set to make her highly anticipated return to music soon. The talented songstress stepped out of the spotlight to concentrate on raising her son Angelo, who was born in October 2012, but is said to be working on putting together her third album – rumoured to be called 25.
There are also reports that the Someone Like You singer is on the verge of signing a two-year residency deal in Las Vegas. "The demand for Adele is off the charts," a source told In Touch Weekly. "Everyone is dying to see her perform again. This could be the biggest deal ever put together."
